    cause they told us last year that a non profit had to have board members NO President & now all of a sudden we have a president

    From the Bylaws: "To run for President of the Board, you must be a club member and have served on the Board of Directors the previous year. The President of the Board is elected at the annual year end meeting. All club members may vote. The results are determined by a majority." Judge is eligible because he was a club member and he served on the Board of Directors last year. His nomination received the majority of votes at the year end meeting.

    New bylaws to accommodate the club's 501c3 status are being composed and will be presented to the membership for approval some time this year. In the mean time, the club must operate on the existing approved bylaws.

    If anyone would like to assist with the drafting of the new bylaws, please contact me.
