This Sundays round at Buffalo trace is going to be our 1st taste of winter conditions for winter leagues. While it may not be snowing their will be plenty of snow on the ground.

I showed up 2 hours early to shovel off all the pads.

Yet ANOTHER NO SHOW on a Singles league day & just also happens to be another no show in Indiana.

No matter what i have to show up at each course, take time away from my family, gas & mileage on the car. I honestly can not put in the time & effort if no ones going to show up.

    What to do ?
Why is no one coming out to play ?

I need some answers to decide to either spot singles play & make all doubles or just stop winter leagues all together.

NEXT week is doubles at I.Q. PENDING

It's a holiday weekend, not everyone wants to play in snow, final day of the NFL regular season with several games being played that affect the playoffs...I live in Indiana, but I couldn't make it because we were having a party for my daughter, who just graduated from college. It's also two days before a tournament and I didn't want to listen to the crap I'd take if I tried to play today and then Tuesday as well.

Buffalo is also a bit of a haul from Louisville aka where most disc golfers live. Also looking for discs in the snow kind of sucks.

This sucks in a lot of ways.

Buffalo is just a little to far to be
included in LDGC leagues. I love the place -
actually one of my favorites but it's 45 minutes
    from my house.

I hope you don't throw in the towel. Thanks for all
    that you are doing.

OK i'm loving the feedback. It's a huge help in understanding things. I understand everyone has a life outside of disc golf as well.

This season of winter leagues i did cut back on the courses that are far out from last season. Making for a more local schedule.
Like NO Radcliff, Muldraugh. Less Buffalo & less Fun farm.

So next season notes: NO Buffalo, Fun Farm & i guess no Otter Creek ? Works for me. Less gas & risk of driving in bad weather.
