Even though this isn't a PDGA-sanctioned event you can still turn in the scores and have them counted as a rated league round, can't you?

Well that would be a sanctioned league, this isn't sanctioned, so no?

Interesting question. It's possible, maybe Martin would know or know who to ask?

Why is this NOT a PDGA-sanctioned event ? & the S.I.C. was C-MON

Because this isn't a two-round tournament for one; because they don't want to have to jack with the PDGA and whatnot for two.

This is a tournament that was started for and is MAINLY for FUN. You get drunk party on New Years Eve and then come out throw some discs have a good time. Second it is so guys/gals who are not tournament golfers can come play a round for cheap, get a disc, get a tournament feel but not have to pay the 10 extra or 50 to join the PDGA. Regardless of where they place the get that cool Glow CVO disc. Pros who come out get their First Tourney win of the year, Bragging rights, and the Trophy of that year. Third it is a CVO fundraiser we Feature our new CVO stamp for the year get some plastic out there and start the CVO fund to get that early push to get it going in the right direction. This also gives us the idea of which of the CFR discs are going to be the "Hot Item" that we have.
And some of those CFR's are going to be hot items... but I don't want to say too much until the order is placed.
