You'd have had a decent shot from where you were (provided the 2-meter rule wasn't in affect. lol) I know that feeling, though, that you look all over the place and then find out later it was up. I just looked right over from the fairway trying to find somebody else's and there it was.

I found it but don't worry about it, it's good karma. As a matter of fact I found one on the very same hole today on the other side of the fairway. I also lost one on #11 so hopefully it'll come back to me.
