Default Hypothetically...New Course or Added Nine

Would you rather have a new course somewhere on Otter Creek's property (meaning you may have to drive to a different location other than the old course to play it) or would you rather have the extra nine holes added permanently (allowing us to not have to drive elsewhere)?

    Vote in the poll above.

Depends... would it be another course similar to the current course or would it be a more modern design?

If it was going to be another course like the existing, I say just add the 9. But if the park could host the existing AND a new, more modern (longer) course, then I say add the new one.

Like i said before leave the current course ( one of the oldest courses still alive ) the way it is as a AM course.
Build a new longer 18 hole course that's aimed toward PROs AKA the new PRO course.

This would be great for tournaments as well have 2 totally different courses = 36 holes in the same for say place

I'm thinking bigger, better (per "today's" standards), beefier on the new course. And for clarification the added nine would NOT modify the existing 18. I will always fight to maintain the original 18 (er, 17) layout...as I always have. There has been ONE hole (#8) modified from the original layout. I reluctantly gave in to that fight since there was good reason to change it (safty and erosion issues). We also added the "monument" on #1 due to some IDIOTS cutting a path through the woods. Other than that EVERYTHING (INCLUDING THE MANDO ON #13) is the same way it's always been.

Hole one at Otter needs some work. Do you agree Jeremy?
The path through the middle seems like the only logical route.
The over the right edge route seems like the hole has closed.
    Just my thoughts.

Yup. We've considered removing the "monument" for this reason.

I voted for an additional 18 hole course. Since Otter has a well established rec course already, it would be AWESOME to have a championship caliber course on site also.

a NEW COURSE = 2 courses will bring in much more revenue for the park.

Interesting thought. I'll keep that in my back pocket.
