Tada! The Lexmark Championship tournament discs have arrived.

They're now on sale in the 485 store (003) for Lexmarkers. Then they'll be prizes and for sale at the tournament (August 27th). If you're a non-Lexmarker and want your hands on one ASAP, email me... discgolf@aaronhatfield.com

    $9: Soft Magnet (top left)
$14: Elite Z Hornet (top middle)
    $14: ESP Nuke (top right)
$16: Elite Z Glo Stalker (bottom left)
$16: ESP Supercolor Buzzz (bottom right)

The player's pack is your choice between the Magnet, Hornet, or Nuke. But you'll need to register really soon... only the first 30 amateurs to register will get a player's pack.

    You can register here... http://www.pdgasignup.com/Qstore/Qst...ROD=1310574236

    Shameless copy of email...

    Hi.

If you've registered online, thanks! That helps a ton and you'll get
your player's pack disc when you sign-in Saturday. Let me know if you
don't see your name on PDGA event page here...
    http://www.pdga.com/tournament_results/73903

Want to play but just haven't registered yet? Yikes! You can either
    (1) register online by Thursday at 8pm EST and score a player's pack
disc or (2) do the late registration thing on Saturday but miss out on
the player's pack disc... and pay a $5 late fee. Note that the the
tourney is limited to 72 players. Online registration is here...
    http://www.pdgasignup.com/Qstore/Qst...ROD=1310574236

Be sure to bring some extra cash. There will be an optional ace pot
and tournament discs will be on sale.

Also bring ALL of your old discs. There will be a disc donation box
for the Anne Mason Elementary PE Program. For every disc you donate,
you're name goes into a drawing for a new Champion Ape with the
Ironworks 2011 Tournament series stamp on it, provided by Winchester
Parks and Rec. The more you donate to this good cause, the better
    your chances.

If you've never played at Shadybrook Park, you'll want directions. The
Lexmark campus is pretty huge. You can find directions and the
    schedule on the tourney webpage...

Zaxby's (1 block away) is offering 10% off to everyone that plays.
Feel free to bring your lunch, eat at Zaxby's, or drop in somewhere
    else that's nearby.

Please spread the word about the tournament. Here's a flyer...

See ya (hopefully) on Saturday. Sign-in and late registration is
    between 8am and 9am.

    Thanks,

    Aaron Hatfield

All I need is some tasty waves and a cool buzz and I'm all right.

I backhand as a hobby, I putt to pay the bills.

Look at the novice field. WHOA... and I thought HB's tournaments were loaded with sand.

Lewis what are you doing playing novice? That division should be set aside for new players and those who have never played a PDGA event or only own 3 discs and a kroger bag

Lexmark is a fun course to those not playing the ace race - go check it out its private and this is the one time a year visitors can play the course. Place has an iroquois feel

That's the biggest novice division I've ever seen.

Check out the lexington open a year or so ago - I believe they had the largest novice division in PDGA history

    Makes this one look tiny

I played two rounds with Jay Erwin at BG Ams. He beat me both rounds.

Now while I may be a low-ranking Rec player, I am surely no Novice!

Good news: the grass is being cut today at Shadybrook and we're up to 44 re-registered players... http://www.pdga.com/tournament_results/73903

Bad news: some moron parked his scooter on the #16 blue tee pad

I simply took a pic and moved this fine piece of engineering.

    Sigh.
