I don't see the fascination with New York pizza. Put some toppings on there, then we'll talk. I didn't get this fat eating a flimsy slice of tomato sauce on filo dough.

Have you been to New York Marcus and what have toppings but plan pizza is the best because you can taste how could it is without the mask of toppings.
The toppings are why I eat the pizza (and I want meat on my pizza, not that new-age veggie crap.) The crust is really only there to keep the sauce off my fingers when I pick it up. I've never been to New York, but I have been to Chicago, and I ate at Geno's East when I was there.

Turoni's Buffalo Chicken pizza. That's the ticket.
Being married to a vegetarian, I have learned the value of a good old fashioned cheese pizza. I don't eat pork or beef either, so my options are limited. We have Mr. B's here in Henderson, and we get their pan with Pesto sauce and red peppers. Om nom nom, that is some gooood pie.
I can recall many a double-decker from Deerhead, too.

I ate at Turoni's a while back and it was pretty darn good. I would strongly suggest it to those playing in the open.
And I pitty the fool who hasn't stopped at the New Albanian Brewing Company for their deep dish pizza. It's not quite a thick as Gino's in Chicago but it is some of the best pizza I've ever eaten.
