Just a reminder that the Southern Kentucky Disc Golf Championships are less than a month away. I have witnessed many KY tournaments fill to capacity during the last week of sign ups. We receive sign ups from the PDGA once a week in "batches" and the number of sign ups in those batches will become greater the closer we get to the tournament date. We will stand firm on 72 per division (4 somes) cause that's how we roll!
We cannot take "verbal sign ups" as we have done in the past and we won't have time to take sign ups the morning of the event because we are focused on expediting play. You must preregister for this event and be a current PDGA member. Registration closes Friday evening May 20th. There will be a crew out at Nat's Outdoor Sports taking sign ups Friday afternoon and evening. Information on this event may be found here: http://hollerinthehills.com/soky-dis...-championship/

If you have pledged to sponsor a hole at our event, we need your donations before May 16th so we can get your sponsorship signs ready. More information on sponsorship may be found here: http://hollerinthehills.com/help-sponsor-our-event/
We are also looking for help during the tournament at the Holler in the form of spotters, food help or whatever. If you don't plan to play or you have some kin or a friend who can help, please let us know in advance. We would appreciate it.
There is a small motel which is two minutes from the Holler In The Hills disc golf course. The guy who owns it doesn't advertise the motel and most people think it has been converted to businesses. There are a few businesses on the lower floor but they are seldom open and never open on weekends. All the available motel rooms are on the 2nd floor. There were 5 rooms with 2 double beds and 1 room with one double bed. There are now 3 rooms with two double beds up for grabs. Each room is very clean, has cable TV, small refrigerator, microwave, bathroom and shower. The price is $40 (this includes tax and all). The owner is very adamant about "No Smoking" in the rooms. There is a balcony outside the rooms with an ashtray and a nice view. There are several places to eat nearby and a couple within a 2 minute walk. Let me know if you want a room and I will have the key at the course (Holler In The Hills). Once you commit to a room, you are on the hook for 40.00 per night. I prefer to rent the rooms to people who plan to stay more than one night. Contact Howie at 270-597-9477 or email@example.com for more information.
There have been 77 discs retreived/found at the Holler In The Hills disc golf course. All of these discs are listed at: http://hollerinthehills.com/lost-and-found/
If you lost some plastic, you might wanna check it out.
