So whats the word on Possum Ridge aka Taylorsville lake

Any news on when the disk park will be open? There web site has been dead since last Sept.http://www.prdgc.org/ I live in Mt. Washington and have next week off from school and work. I was going to lend a hand but can find a soul in this club. Anyway some news would be great.

When it comes to getting a new course in the ground things can take awhile. I don't do the whole Facebook thing either but I still look at their site to see if anything is going on. I don't have Riks email to pass on but I will pm you Scotts who also post on here at times as Scobandit.

Drove out there to see if anything has been happening and found nothing. Stopped at the camp ground next to the horse riding park and was told that the guy who was in charge of the project was fired and that there was no plans to put in the park. Suck's

This was just posted on the Possum Ridge Disc Golf Club Facebook Site Today

"We are waiting on the new state park commissioner and park manager. Once they are in office and brought up to speed we will sit down with them and the horse trail people to finalize the plans. We do have 80-90% of the fairways cleared and the state has provided us with baskets and signs. We have some supplies (concrete, railroad ties, telephone poles for bridges and 2 X 4s) promised to us. it is our sincere hope that our patience will be rewarded."

Lots of work has been done out there - Patience is key.
