    Default Otter Creek Progress (2/19/11)

We had ten people working on the course today. We were able to remove the debris from 12 fairways. We cut the debris into manageable sized pieces and moved it to the edges of the fairways to be removed later. The remaining holes will not be as tough as what we did today. With two more work days like what we had today the course will be back in the condition it was in before it was closed.

The tentative date for reopening is May 11th!!!

Thanx to Troy Duke, John Logston, Larry Cave, Clint Rider, Butch Harbolt, Randy Reed, Nick Murphy, Ed Murphy, and Shawn McGee for giving up a beautiful Saturday to get the course going. Our next work day is March 5th.

Thanks to Ed & Nick as usua,l for getting me this morning.I would not have been able to help out. Good people, good times I thank MR.ELBOW for the hard work getting this park back. Sometimes i dont think my friends realize how much I appreciate transportation to be involved with the sport I so much enjoy.

    That's MR. ELBO...

We'll all be out there again this coming weekend. He requested that we stick with the same crew.

I somehow missed this thread. First thing I do is check new post so I dunno how that happened. Good work and good news guys, I can't wait to play this course again! I'm seeing a huge road trip on opening day.

Did you guys get to work Saturday? I know it rained most of the day.
If so, can you give us a progress preort?

Unfortunately, no. The park manager asked us to postpone until this Saturday.
