I would much prefer sand be used than salt if we put anything on the tee pads. Salt can erode the texture of concrete making it smoother. I know it takes repeated use to do that, but sand shouldn't erode the concrete at all.

You do know that make safe ice melt / concrete / sidewalk salt

They do make salt that says its safe on most concrete surfaces as long as it is spread lightly. Most salt also says not to use on newer concrete that hasn't had time to set properly. Having said that keep in mind that these tees were poured when there wasn't alot of warm days left. Ice melt is not the best option and I would prefer it not be used on any local courses.

IS anyone going to help ? OR just make suggestions. No matter what when the snow stops tomorrow i will be clearing these pads off with a plastic shovel so not to chip any concrete.

As a construction manager, I can tell you even though the temp has been a little low since pouring those pads, they have had WAY more than enough time to completely set. Concrete typically takes 28 days to reach full strength. Even in colder temperatures, this only extends to maybe 35 days. The salt should be fine to use on these pads, but do it sparingly!

Besides that, these removers are typically used for ICE removal, not snow. None of these would work very fast on snow as the salts tend to melt right through the snow down to the surface, so the only snow that melts is what is in contact with the surface. Sure, as it melts, the upper snow falls, but it still takes a lot of time. Best cure for snow is typically mechanical removal (aka, SHOVEL!!). lol
