    Default Changes to the course

Martin, Judge and I meet with the board and superintendent of New Albany Floyd County Parks this evening. We are happy to announce they have approved big changes that will greatly improve the course. Once changes are made, the parks department wants to pour concrete pads this fall.

The next step is to meet with the parks department at the course and go over the changes on the ground so they can see first hand everything we want to do. Once that happens and everything is approved, I will post about it here.

I will tell you that the changes will make the course more fun, significantly more challenging, and will better showcase the natural beauty of this fantastic park.

Martin and I walked the new course layout with the parks superintendent and head of maintenance this morning. Everything went very well and we're going to meet the maintenance crew at the course Thursday to bush hog and trim areas of the park to accommodate the new disc golf course.

Martin and I are very excited at how fast things are moving along now. It's very possible the new course could be ready to play in a couple weeks!

Martin and I went out at this morning to meet with 3 maintenance guys from the parks department to start preparing the park for the newly designed disc golf course. Park maintenance came out with some heavy machinery and cleared back the vines and thorns so we can get baskets moved, hopefully next week.

It wasn't quite done when I had to leave for work, but Martin is still out there with them finishing the job. They did a great job and the new course is going to be awesome. It's possible we could be playing the new layout next Thursday at leagues!
