Exclamation Urgent news for the brandenburg open!

Our AMAZING parks department here in Brandenburg has made it's first BIG mistake when it comes to event planning here in the Brandenburg area. They scheduled our tourny on the same day as a huge car show that will be held at Meade/Olin. During this show cars will be parked all over hole #1, #13, and #18's fairways. We're currently looking into adding a few holes behind #5's basket and then connecting back in at #6's tee and MAYBE even moving the second round to Muldraugh. I will put more information here as the situation develops.

Meh, I don't think the car guys would mind buffing out a few scuffs from some little ol' discs...

Eddie and I just laid out SIX extra holes. They are great holes that keep to a similar layout as the course. Three of the holes are straight from the original course (old holes #4, #5, and #6). As of right now we will NOT be using holes #1 and #18 for sure. We MAY have to skip #13 and #14. We will also likely put a MANDO on #10 to avoid reaching the cars that will be parked in #1's fairway.

As soon as the final decisions are made.

Hopefully by tonight or tomorrow at the latest. I'm going to go mark the added holes during lunch tomorrow.

Here is a rough map of the added holes. "T" marks where the tee is and "B" marks the basket. The terrain is green and beautiful (unlike the picture from winter) and the angles are a little off due to the angle the picture was taken but this will guide you if you want to practice them. They'll be marked tomorrow.

    Here are some GUESSTIMATED distances:

    Temp #1 - 320'
    Temp #2 - 375'
    Temp #3 - 350'
    Temp #4 - 250'
    Temp #5 - 600'
    Temp #6 - 220'

I've never seen this course. How close are we going to be to these cars? Remember, some of us are Rec players and we don't need angry car man coming for me after us when spank his 69 Camaro with an errant Wraith!

We will avoid the cars all together to make sure that errant shots will NOT reach them. There are no worries in that respect.

Sweet. I loved the old lay out. I remember the 600
footer. (if i am looking at it right) It's long and finishes
    over a little hillside.

Are we playing two rounds here?
