Fundraiser tournaments and clinics and picnics, oh my!

Please do not host it on the holiday. There are some of us are not able to join in on these events, due to work schedules and/or family events. I think the 18th would be the best date for something like that.

I was going to post this morning about this as well. I don't think the 4th is a good day because of that.

I agree.

July 18th wouldn't be bad but I most likely wouldn't be able to help since I'm running the B-burg Open on the 17th and the Lebanon Open on the following weekend. Julie would kill me if I stacked another event in there. That's not to say that YOU guys can't run it though.

Adam suggested we do that at this event. This would be an opportunity to get more people to join the LDGC and then draw for a free PDGA membership at the end of the day.

This is an all day outside event and July is usually a pretty hot month. Would it be too close to the CVO if we tried to do it August 15th or 29th?

Maybe we should go ahead and do the drawing sooner as opposed to later. I could do the drawing at Thursday leagues (yeah, I'm trying to boost attendance). Of course there are probably more LDGC members at Wednesday leagues so James could do it there if he wanted. Just a thought.

I think it's only going to be as hot or hotter in August as it would be in July. August is typically KY's hottest month. Plus, if we do one in July we could turn around and do another in August if the intrest permitts.

True.

I'm going to be gone for 3 weeks in July so I probably won't be able to help if we do one then, but that certainly shouldn't stop it from happening.
