The elected officials will head up three different committees -

Membership/Public Relations
Tournaments/Leagues
Financial/Fundraising

the idea: Pres/Vice/Sec can serve on all three committees, Tres would head Fundraising, and PR would head Membership

If you are a club member in 2010 - you should serve on one of these three committees. This can be a great year and if we can divy up the work, bring together the great ideas that you all have, we can do amazing things for disc golf here in the Greater Louisville Area.

I have a room reserved for the 19th at 3pm. The club is going to spring for some appetizers, so we can combine the meeting with a small "party" to end the year.

So are we supposed to put nominations online or bring them to the meeting? What is the format for nominations? Can anyone be nominated or do they have to be a club member? Can anyone vote or do they have to be a club member? Do nominations require a second? Can someone nominate themself? Are we voting there at the meeting or will we have nominations and then a scheduled online vote?

Steve, do you want to do this? If so what do you want it to say and who do you want it sent to?

Everyone who's ever said the LDGC is NOT a democracy...here's your chance. Actually come to a LDGC meeting and then you'll know what you're talking about.
