Overstable:

Wizard
Challenger
KC Aviar
Big Bead Aviar

Neutral:

Voodoo
Warlock (starts out more overstable)
Magnet
Aviar P n A
Magic

Understable:

Soft Apx

When putting all discs behave the same 20 to 30 ft in. Overstable discs are better in the wind but tend to hyzer out quicker. Most overstable putters have a (big) bead on them. That's probably the easiest way to tell the difference when you feel of different putters.

Neutral putters are better (in my opinion) at running at the basket 30 + feet out. They may also have more glide due to them not hyzering out as much. The only drawback is that they may not handle the wind as much as their overstable brethren.

A lot of people love the wizard. It's a great overstable mold that has a good combination of glide, wind resistance, and has a driver. The warlock is similar to the wizard in that it starts out overstable but beats in quicker due to the lack of bead.

One thing you can do is find an overstable mold and beat it in until it is a neutral mold. That way you can have one for putting and another for driving.

I personally throw the Challengers, but I'm starting to notice that they drop out of the air quicker. Other people have said the same about the Challengers. I'll probably end up getting a Magnet, Aviar, or Warlock.

I hope this helps.

Practice makes the putter not the disc itself.

I personally use 170-175g DX Aviar P&A's but alot of people prefer the beaded versions aka KC and JK.

Use what feels good in your hand and gives you the most consistant release for your form/style.

175g KC or JK pro Aviars. The KC pro if you like a firmer feel, or the JK if you want something softer.

I like the Supersoft Omega putters. Their rating is 2-0-0-4, very easy to turbo, rock steady on a short upshot, and really mushes into the chains.
