    Default Muldraugh...some more...

All but three baskets are back at Muldraugh. There have been some MASSIVE clean-up efforts out there. I got an ace my first round back there this morning.

#2, #14, and #17 are with out baskets. Most of the course looks as good or better than it ever has. A few holes are still in ROUGH shape from the ice/wind storms.

All but TWO holes now have baskets. #14 and #17 are now without pins. The course is looking AMAZING! Itís just as tight as ever. A few holes have REALLY opened up but itís STILL tough. Iíve played two rounds since itís been back in the ground and I shot a 44 (with an ACE) and a 52. I STRUGGLED for that 52 too.

The rough is VERY rough. Eddie went out and sprayed for bugs (ticks). In two rounds there Iíve only found one tick on me. But, from lack of traffic from having the course closed the weeds are VERY tall. Troy Duke, Clint Rider, and some other locals have really worked their tails off to clean most of the fairways but it still needs some traffic to knock the rest of the crap down. Theyíve been out there with rakes, weed-eaters, spray, trimmers, etc. Itís VERY exciting to have another course back in the ground.

Are there any tee signs yet or is there still a need for a guide the first time you play?

There is some signage that helps guide the way. Now tee signs yet though.

Good to hear this course is back! Good job guys! I will definitely have to come down there and check it out again.

I always had a good time playing this tough course.

That's good to hear. I'm looking forward to playing another course. Hopefully, there won't be any punks try to steal the baskets this time.

This is great news! I believe this is one of the first courses I ever played (talk about an eye-opener!). I have been anxious to play this course again and I am glad to hear about the work that is being done. Great job guys!
