Course Update (One Year Later ~ 2009)

Meade/Olin once again has eighteen holes!!! That’s so exciting! We’ve been reluctant to do ANY work to the course because there are still dump trucks, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment that are STILL working on the park. But we went ahead and installed the two new baskets, one on #5 (which remains in it’s original placement) and one on #13 (which now resides in a new placement). We’ve ordered more sleeves for alternate placements and already dug holes for them. Once they get here will go ahead and set them. When we’re finished holes #1, #7, #8, #9, #13, and #15 will all have alternate pin locations, #3, #17 and #18 will possibly have alternate tees, #16 will be an entirely different hole (turnover with mando), and we’re still looking into adding sand traps and an elevated basket. It’s all coming together. I can’t wait to see how Old Brandy turns out.

That is terrific news. Brandenburg is such a great course and now it will be even better! Great job on using the negative of the tornados and storms to turn it into a positive for all of us to enjoy. Thank you for all your efforts and those that helped.

A layout of the course doesn't exist. It is being worked on though. Shoot me a message when you want to come down and I'll give you a guided tour.
