i wonder what's up with this. It seems it's taking waaayyy long for them to get it back running smoothly. I would like to see some round ratings from some recent tourneys (I'm sure everyone would). The fact that we pay a decent amount of coin to have ratings (about the only reason I'm a member) their website should be going by now. Why couldn't they hire someone to fix this problem immediately?? I wonder where our money is going?? It makes our sport look superficial and a joke when we can't even have round ratings posted after a tourney. I understand it's some sort of security issue with the web site but come on, it's been at least two weeks if not more.

Not to mention that this new site was supposed to be full of new additions and I have yet to see any. It's the same site with new looking pages? Very sad to say the least.

I've been wrong before but I believe they hired a company to do the file transfer at the very least.

They hired someone and they have volunteers from what I have gathered from threads.

My website got hacked about six months ago. It was a monster undertaking to clear out
ALL the bugs. I thought it was fixed three times before it was finally removed 100%.

This is how to asses your rating from this weekend.
1. What did the winner shoot?
2. What did you shoot?
3. How many strokes did you lose by to the overall winner?

The answer is that. Ratings really only tell us how good a golfer we are. I play
with Billy all the time. He beats me 4 out of 5 times by about 2-4 strokes.
Currently he is 19 higher than me ratings wise.

Just some thoughts. About the money. No comment.

Sammy I understand what your saying about comparing your score to the overall winners score, but how do I do the math? How many points do I deduct from what total to come up with a rating.

I miss the magazines the most, I thought the first couple of issues were nice.

Magazine is pretty nice.

I don't really know how to calculate an exact rating.
My point is mainly I have been playing long enough to know about how
I am shooting rating wise. Just saying. I shot a -6 and -7 at the swamp.
I think that is about 930 rated golf.
