Disc Golfer of the Month!?

I’ve come up with an idea that I’d like to get started. I think it would be really cool to nominate and vote on a local “Disc Golfer of the Month”. There could be two people nominated each month and we could vote on who is the “Disc Golfer of the Month” through out the month. There could be a “Disc Golfer of the Month” forum where we can post interviews, accomplishments, and goals of the “D.G.o.t.M”. Also the “D.G.o.t.M” would be responsible for nominating the two nominees for the following month.

The reason I would want to do this is to build camaraderie between members of the club and let people get to know each other and what all’s going on in the disc golf community in Louisville.

Any idea that promotes camaraderie is a good idea. This month I nominate Steve Simpson. Not because of his aces. Not because he is our president. Not because of anything else other than the fact that he is bringing us together as one. That in itself is promoting camaraderie in the disc golf community.
