Riney B in Nicholasville, KY

I'm thinking about playing in the tournament at Riney B in a couple weeks, but haven't played the course before, how is it?

Very challenging Adam, played it for the first time on Sunday. A good combination of long, fairly open holes and short, tactical holes. It can really bite you if you get off the fairway on some holes. It's a 21 hole course. I liked it, but it didn't like me very much!

Most of it is fairly long and wooded. Some open holes. I guess probably half and half, or a few more wooded. Some of the holes are a bit funky and could use some clearing out. However, I know they've been doing work on the course. So the actual condition of the course could be better than I think.

It's a pretty good course, all in all. Tougher than CV, but not nearly as fair. If you shoot even, you're doing well. It's an interesting play, definitely.

I'm going to try and be there, too. Really depends on how I feel and how hot it is...

If anyone's interested in carpooling, I'm driving down Monday, Aug 4th for some practice and Saturday, Aug 9th for the tournament.

Take Nicholasville Rd south to Nicholasville. Go past Main street and it's less than a mile past that intersection on the left. Look for the "Riney B" sign at the entrance. Hole 1 is before and to the left of the pool.

Yeah, my back's doing a lot better. Now, it's something that was a consequence of why I had surgery back in February. It's a brain problem that can make you pee a lot and easily dehydrate you. Because of this, I've got to be really careful when it's hot out. Hopefully I can get this sorted out soon--I'm jonesing pretty hard to get out and throw some!

How's the elbow?

I hear yah brother I'm jonesing my self...just can't play as much right now due to overworking it. I'm not as bad off as you though, man I hate to hear of anyone having such issues. Take care, hope to see yah out sometime soon.
