    Default Grand Opening!

I just got word that the grand opening of a new disc golf course in Georgetown, IN will be on Monday at 6 pm. Here's the email I received:

I wanted to let you know that our disc golf course is almost complete. We will be having the grand opening on Monday June 16 at 6:00pm. We are not fully complete but far enough along to open it up. We have had a lot of calls and people stopping by to ask about it. The word has really gotten around. Hope to start some leagues there soon. Pass the word around. Thanks.

Any course info? Is it worth the drive (and gas $$$) from the east end? Inquiring minds want to know!

Nevertheless, great to see another course! Woohoo!

Should be. I really need to make sure of my health before it. I can let you know on Tuesday or so. I really haven't been doing to well lately, but I'm trying to get my meds figured out and once I do, I should be much better.

Anyway, that sounds good. Heck no, I don't mind dogs! Love 'em to death. It's not like it's a tournament or anything! It's supposed to be much cooler, too! Woohoo to that!

I haven't played the entire course, but the holes I have played were good and worth the drive. The front is mostly open and it looks like the back is wooded.

The course isn't too far if you're coming from Louisville, only 7 minutes once you cross the bridge.

Problem is that it's 20+ minutes to cross the bridge!

Thanks for the description! I appreciate it...
