$100 Hole Sponsors (Caddy Book) [2008]

The CVO has been on my mind constantly here lately in case you couldn’t tell. I was doing some number crunching today and thought you guys might want to see a scenario that I came up with. Let’s say that 25 PRO (Open) players show up just like last year. That’s $1625 in entry fees. Then let say (best case scenario) we raise $2700 in hole sponsors. And then (best case scenario) we raise $1500 with fund raiser discs. This puts the PRO purse at $5825!!! The payout would look like this:

1st - $1515
2nd - $1050
3rd - $755
4th - $585
5th - $470
6th - $390
7th - $320
8th - $275
9th - $245
10th - $220

That’s not including the fund raiser tourney Larry wants to hold, league money the LDGC may donate, and other misc. donations.

Am’s, don’t worry, Innova is sponsoring us for a TON of merchandise. Plus Revolution, and Phenix are both potintial sponsors. Baskets, bags, and plastic will be abundant. The payouts will be FAT for the AM’s as usual.

This is your all’s event and the 2008 CVO is looking to be Louisville’s biggest event EVER as far as money goes. Get excited! If we make this thing as huge as it seems it will be you can guarantee some big names here in 2009!

Sounds GREAT! I will FOR SURE put together fun tournament that will raise a few extra bucks for the CV Open. And I don't plan on being the only one who decides on what the funds will be used for. I plan on asking the club for suggestions during our next meeting. i.e.should it be used for payout, free lunch, or super duper trophies. I'm excited!

Anymore sponsors out there? I’m still working on a couple. We have 11 holes left. 15, 17, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, and I are all still available. Where is Roadie!?! He said he had some hot leads for us!?!
