Storm Damage

The course suffered some EXTREME damage. The gates are closed but I plan to walk in tomorrow with a camera to get some pics. Holes #15 and #16 looked treeless from 933. I'll update you tomorrow with some pictures.

no trees would make 15 a little easier to weave through - sucks though -

seen some vid on the news looked like the ball park is bad and trees down on the box car

I'm going out today during lunch to take some pictures. I'm a bit heart broken just after what I saw yesterday. I'm trying hard to remain optimistic until I check out the rest of the course but just the two holes I could see from the road are completely destroyed and extremly simplified.

My optimism has shifted from “it’ll be okay” to “it will be rebuilt." The course is completely cleared out . I would say that 60% or more of the trees that guarded the holes are now on the ground. I’ll post the pics tonight.

Is that just on 15/16 or through out the whole course?

The ENTIRE course! It looks like a bull dozer went through the park.

we also suffered some serious damage at Patoka Lake, so I know how your feeling...

That's horrible!

At this point the park has dozers in there pushing out all the trees. If a course remains at the park we'll have to give it a COMPLETE redesign.
