13 used to (don't know if they still use it or not). No others besides what you mentioned have alt tees. I think Jerm said the original water line will be OB. He said he's tinkering with the idea of making and island hole (ala 17 at winthrop).

Hi Jeremy, I had some questions about the layout for the tournament. I’ll go hole by hole and describe them as I understand it. I know you said, long and long for the open (qualifiers). Let me know if I’m wrong anywere.
Hole 1, is in short now, will be moved to long
Hole 2, is in long now
Hole 3, is in long now
Hole 4, is in long now
Hole 5, is in long now
Hole 6 is in short now, will be moved to long
Hole 7 in is long now (the straighter location is the long right?)
Hole 8, is in long now (I think, it’s next to the evergreens on the right)
Hole 9, is in short now, will be moved to long
Hole 10 is in long now?
Hole 11 is in long now
Hole 12 not sure here, it seems like its in the long now, under the trees. I seem to remember playing this to the left and a little longer at some point in the past. Dunno.
Hole 13, not sure here, its in the only location I have ever seen it in (330’), but the sign says there is a 400’ placement too. Dunno
Hole 14, is in short on right side now, will move to longer straighter shot?
Hole 15, there are 2 tees here, I assume we’ll be long teeing it?
Hole 16, how tight will this OB really be. It’s going to KILL some people if its too small. How far right will be safe? And I assume the open will use the longest, rightest tee
Hole 17, is in short now, will move to long?
Hole 18, is in short now, I’ve never seen the long, but the sign says there is a 400’option? I guess it will move there?
Additional holes> are they on an “as needed” basis? Or are we going into this knowing that there will be a certain number of extras? And they are…?
I don’t mean to bombard you with questions and info, but we’re 9 days out now, and I’m looking at the forecast and some of those days are going to be rainy. Just trying to get my schedule together and figure out the layout. Hope to make it out there soon to practice once I get all this srraight.. Just making sure ALL the holes will be in the longs, if so I need to go look for the sleeves I guess so I’ll know where to aim in practice. Is there a day that you hope to have the pins in the tournament layout?
Thanks
Scott
Yes.
Only the Open players will play the long tees on 15 and 16. This will open up opportunities for AMs to have more chances at birdies. Open players will play the longest pad on both holes.
The OLD water line is OB.
Jeremy, David Fiscus will be there at Freeman, I will pay for him tomorrow.
Mailed entry & fee on 3/26

They moved hole 7, all the others are still where they were.
just wondering if you've talked to Butch about when he may move the rest of them.
In my opinion, the course would be a lot better and more fun if some of the pins were left in the current location. It just seems like there will be a lot of 3's and there won't be much of a scoring spread on many of the holes, and that's fine i guess. I guess the holes coming to mind are 9 long, 15 from the long tee. I know they are still duecable, but only to maybe 5% of the top players. I know we've already said ALL longs, but I just wanted to voice my opinion.
Most of the others seem fair to most players. I'm just hoping that its not a big 3 fest for the qualifier. I'd say make those holes 80' longer or 60' shorter. But it's all good, and it is what it is, unless it isn't. It will just make the duece hole that much more valuable.
Looking forward to playing the course in the tournament layout. Also, will the old water line be marked? there are some iffy areas that could come into play.
Can't wait til Saturday.
WHO WON THE 3 MAN DEAL?
So is long 7 to the left or to the right? They are both about the same distance
I just contacted Butch and Johnny. We'll leave all the basket in their CURRENT location.
