Re: Muldraugh...some more...
All but TWO holes now have baskets. #14 and #17 are now without pins. The course is looking AMAZING! It’s just as tight as ever. A few holes have REALLY opened up but it’s STILL tough. I’ve played two rounds since it’s been back in the ground and I shot a 44 (with an ACE) and a 52. I STRUGGLED for that 52 too.
The rough is VERY rough. Eddie went out and sprayed for bugs (ticks). In two rounds there I’ve only found one tick on me. But, from lack of traffic from having the course closed the weeds are VERY tall. Troy Duke, Clint Rider, and some other locals have really worked their tails off to clean most of the fairways but it still needs some traffic to knock the rest of the crap down. They’ve been out there with rakes, weed-eaters, spray, trimmers, etc. It’s VERY exciting to have another course back in the ground.
Re: Muldraugh...some more...
I'm glad to hear the course is coming along. Thanks for the updates Jeremy!
Re: Muldraugh...some more...
wow, yeah i need to hit that one up soon, even if you can only throw at the sleeves on two of the holes...
Re: Muldraugh...some more...
Are there any tee signs yet or is there still a need for a guide the first time you play?
Re: Muldraugh...some more...
There is some signage that helps guide the way. Now tee signs yet though.
Re: Muldraugh...some more...
Good to hear this course is back! Good job guys! I will definitely have to come down there and check it out again.
I always had a good time playing this tough course.
Re: Muldraugh...some more...
That's good to hear. I'm looking forward to playing another course. Hopefully, there won't be any punks try to steal the baskets this time.
Re: Muldraugh...some more...
This is great news! I believe this is one of the first courses I ever played (talk about an eye-opener!). I have been anxious to play this course again and I am glad to hear about the work that is being done. Great job guys!
Re: Muldraugh...some more...
All 18 baskets are reinstalled...go play!
