New Site Layout and Ideas

I know a LOT of you just make the message board a favorite and only visit it but I've just switched over to Word Press for our site and I hope to be making some MAJOR improvments over the next few months. There are already a few neat NEW features such as the calendar, weather, and course directory. I know it's kinda bland right now but give me some time and I'll have it up to the same par as our message board.

Please give me your thoughts and ideas for the new site. Stuff you might like to see on it. If you have any experience using Word Press let me know too. I'd LOVE to have some help!

So is the message board still the same? When I clicked on it it took me back here. Otherwise that is a pretty cool set up :!:

Yeah! Our message board is pretty awesome! I don't want to change anything about it.

The site still needs tons of work. The calender is clickable and will bring you to the proper place to discuss events on the message board.

Thanx in advanced to Nick Murphy for stepping up and helping create a theme for the website. I think it's going to look VERY seamless when going from the site to the board. I'm soooo EXCITED!

I just found this and I think it looks nice! I'm one of the guys who has the main page in my favorites. I have been checking for the last 2-3 days and getting a 404 error. I was scared for a second there and was going into withdrawals!

Alright, the site is now updated with new Home, Courses, and Events pages. There is a weather widget in the side bar that is very useful. The calendar in the side bar is also VERY useful but is currently NOT WORKING PROPERLY. I'll keep you updated on the progress of getting that fixed. Once it's fixed I will add a calendar page to the website that will just be a bigger version of that calendar.

I found a theme for the site that closely resembled the theme I had created for the message board. Nick Murphy was able to take that theme and make it look nearly identical to our message board. This is greatly appreciated and save me a lot of time and effort. Thanx Nick!

With the transition to Wordpress the website will be MUCH easier to keep updated. There are a LOT of new possiblities. I keep you updated on the changes.

Hey Jeremy, I got an idea for a new page. It would be similar to the course page but called Local Disc Vendors or something like that. Most people on here already know where these places are but it could benefit the newer players who don't.

Good idea! I could just add it to the courses page once it's more near completion.
