Eagle Scout project on 14

I have a scout that will be conducting an Eagle Scout project on hole 14. The goal of this project is to provide easier access to the teepad. He has already recieved approval from metro parks for this project. He has expressed interest in talking with the LDGC president, Steve Simpson and course designer, Dave Greenwell. I must express that the only input he is allowed to recieve would be gameplay and enviroment conditions. Unfortunately none of us are allowed to input any other design suggestions unless he ask, and those suggestions themselves are limited.

exciting - sounds like a great project - surely checking between the parks and the ldgc and dave is smart - due to any construction matching up with projected course plans and bridges/culverts that may or may not be being installed - i'd imagine some consistancy in what construction will be going on elsewhere on the course and as part of this eagle project to maximize asthetic appeal

good stuff, can't wait to see what gets done

as an added topic bonus, there will be more eagle scout projects in the future. i can't say they will all be for disc golf, but i am an assistant scoutmaster as well as a ldgc member (if sammy has turned in my ace pool winnings for membership :?: ) so i like to merge the two whenever possible. i do hear calls for other courses needing help. ooh open the bag of possibilities.

If I can make it I will be there for sure. Keep us all updated.

Talked to Chris, he will be on vacation until the 25th. After that he wants to see what he is messing with and will be open for suggestions. Maybe as soon as Sunday the 27th.

I was wondering if maybe anyone has a better location for a project. I think maybe some steps for hole three would be nice. Maybe something with the hill between 12 and 13. What about the area around 15's basket? Maybe we could cut down that tree on 14. :lol: Just a few ideas I had. I will also suggest placing a few bat house around the course to keep some bugs at bay. Bats consume around 300 mosquitos an hour.
