It would be neat if the Monday night leaguers went there instead of CV.

I'm all for a league there Monday or any night where it doesn't compete with other league nights close by.
The grand opening is in New Albany Tribune and front page of the website.

Nice!!! :bravo:
ledford and i played the georgetown course the other day -
its fun - pretty good course - two tee pads per hole and even a third tee pad (i'm going to compare the pro - 3rd pad- to the longs down at franklin, in many cases, ridiculous, didn't play these) anyhow, there are also two basket anchors on each hole - the pads are similar to palmyra (buffalo trace) - gives you two courses in one, not a bad deal
good diversity of open, wooded, lefty, righty shots
some of the woods holes are still surely in some need of a tree removal project and some clearing in the forest - but for only being a few days old, course looks good
closer then the fun farm - actually being off of corydon ridge rd. its basically right down the street - play them both, good indiana golf
I'm really liking the course as well. Two pin placements on each hole will really help keep the course fresh.
The 3rd tee pads Martin mentioned are only marked on the map; they're the pro pads for tournaments.
All the holes are playable, but a few of them could use a little more work. It sounds like the parks department isn't finished working on the wooded holes even though they've had the grand opening.
BTW Adam, if you can, I lost my precious (Golem voice off) white Champion Monster (no stamp, name on inside of rim) on #15, long of the pin. If you could, I'd appreciate you or someone taking a look and getting it back to me if they could. It really wants to come home...
Man Daniel you are always losing a disc. :nono:
It's my massive arm! Actually, I just got a hold of this sidearm drive and it went probably 60' past the pin! Yikes!
I'll keep an eye out for it.
