Where do you intend to have the Classic? Cv will be under construction.

I can't be sure James since Tommy is the TD but it is currently planned for CV. I spoke
with Metro and reserved the course. They will not have the entire course closed maybe some holes.
If holes are closed new ones will be made I imagine. I will call Metro again and make sure we can get
the top field by the pavilion.

I had a meeting with Tommy last night about the tournament and I get the feeling this will be the biggest
Louisville Classic to date for both pros and ams.

Take care everyone.

Parking will be hell. During construction they ask for all disc golfers to park at the hill top lot or farther away on C.V. park drive to the right coming in from the west entrance. Don't think either lots can hold 100 cars or even 50.
i could see 3 - 5 holes possibly closed cause of drain culverts & rest room & parking lot construction

Hope for the best. Good luck Tommy

Here's the backup plan: Offsite parking with taxi service in THE THING!!!!!

It will all workout and be at CV! Sammy and I will keep up with Metro and I will have everything worked out with new holes in case of closed holes. I will also say if we get 20 open players the winner will get $600 so we need all our local pros to show up and rep Louisville.

what score ranges can be expected from each of the divisions. I am pretty new and want to play in some events eventually but I want to be competitive. Thanks.

That's a good question. Below are the results from the Charlie Vettiner Open last year. This is a good example of what scores look like for each division. All three rounds of that tournament used the regular 18 holes (no added holes). The Recreational division played from the short pads at this tournament and everyone else played from the longs.

Even if you're not very competitive at first, playing tournaments is great experience because it allows you to play with new people, you can see how they play, get used to the slower tournament pace of play, and even if you don't win anything nearly every tournament has a players pack so you'll always way away with something. I hope this helps!
