A note from the Lawrenceburg Disc Golf Association

We are attempting to gather as many names as possible to pass along to city and county officials to let them see just how many people are playing disc golf. All you have to do is visit the following website, check any appropriate boxes, enter your name and address then hit the submit button. I will print out all entries I receive and forward them on to the appropriate officials. Hopefully they will be impressed with the numbers and continue to contribute and support disc golf locally. Please feel free to forward this website to any fellow disc golfer because we want to reach as many people as possible. Thanks.

I want to fill it out, but after looking at it I think I need to play the course first.

WHY would you need to play it first ??, it's about letting the city and county officials know there's interest for Disc Golf . not how good the course is. Fill it out for the sport.

I only say that because of the question regarding how often I play the course.

Yeah. In reality, Lawrenceburg, KY is closer to me than Lawrenceburg, IN is anyway.

As a matter of fact I snuck off this morning with the intentions of playing your 9-hole course. I planned to hit the East Frankfort course and then the Lawrenceburg one but I didn't have time to get both in because I had a meeting at 1:00.

I saw one listed in Lawrenceburg and another listed farther south in the county, but it looked a bit out of the way in regards to where I was. Are there three courses in that county now because I thought the other one was an 18-hole course. I want to get back over there because I really loved East Frankfort. It's short, but it's a great course.

He's not kidding about taking a local. Finding hole 1 was tough. My travel buddies dropped me off at what I thought was near hole 1. Twenty minutes later, I wondered into a portapot and heard chains very close. I happened to run into a local that I've played with in the master's div. I was lucky. I was still far from 1. Additionally, navigating between 14 to 15 and then 17 and 18 is not logical. The course is fun to play though-once you find your way.

Yeah, I spun around in circles a couple of times, too. That #1 is one of the coolest looking holes I've played, in my opinion.
