Hey everyone! My wife and I are going to Bowling Green this weekend to play 4 courses. One of them will be Holler in the Hills. Any suggestions on the other 3??

Kereiakes and Hobson Grove I would suggest playing. I have not played all the courses there but these two and holler are my favorites of the BG area.

The three the good Lieutenant said and my recommendation for the fourth would be Lovers Lane. It'd be the most open and longest of the four and is conveniently located close to I-65. That'd be a full day of golf there.

I agree. Holler, Kereiakes, Hobson and Lovers are all good choices. I'd tell you to go to the Goat Path (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=4305) but I checked on DGCR and it's not playable in the summer.

If you like to air it out, head to White. It's a fun one (lots of OB with the walking trails) but it's VERY long and VERY windy, even on the calmest of days...

I'd say Lovers, Keriaekes and Hobson. I haven't played Basil, Preston Miller or Phil Moore.

There is a tournament going at the Holler this Sat. The Kentucky State singles Championships. FYI

Thanks guys! Airborne, we might end up at the tourney but we just are not sure yet. Thanks again!

Lovers Lane, Kereiakes, Hobson Grove, and White...in that order. This used to be what I did every year on my birthday. Some of my best disc golf memories are in Bowling Green.

Preston Miller isn't terrible either, your lady might like that being shorter and more technical. Nice tee pads, baskets, and a nice little park.

Fun fact...Hobson Grove was the second course to be built in our state.

Really Basil Griffin, over Preston Miller? Maybe the front nine, but the back nine at Basil is blah.

I think White is more of a challenge than most give it credit for. It's because of the wind, the OB and the D. I think it's more challenging than Lover's. Just MHO, of course...

If you don't know her, Nancy doesn't really have to worry about finding a shorter course. She's got a pretty good arm.

I agree with you Daniel, especially with the numerous chances to go to OB at White.. Lovers is just a beautiful course as far as how it is maintained..

True. It rivals Banklick (lincoln ridge) and Etown for the most scenic in KY...

I think Lovers is really quite boring as far as the way it plays and its appearance. It really looks no better than Atkinson Park in Henderson.

I think as far aesthetics goes, Kereiakes looks much better than Lovers. I love the way those cedar trees look and smell.

Sounds like you've gotten up close and, uh, "personal" with those trees, huh? =)

I know it's not a popular choice, and I'd definitely hit Keriakes and Hobson first, but I thought Chalybeate was kind of interesting. A handful of the open holes were kind of throwaways, but it's unique otherwise.
