Yes I believe. Derby City Discs is providing them for the players packs and I'm sure they'll be great.

Adam add Charles G Winn to Adv. div. $40 paid to me at leagues He is also looking to buy tickets for basket so he can be a member of LDGC. Awesome, we'll get him on the list. I'm out out town at the moment but Judge will get him added.

Hey Wyatt, can you send the entry fee as a gift through PayPal or pay a league director if you happen to be in Louisville? We're only adding people to the list who are paid, I hope you understand.

Adam, I don't know if you saw them but I took some new pictures of the course. They're on Facebook because I couldn't figure out how to load them on here, but I tagged you on all of them so you'd see them and if they're of any use to you go ahead and do what you want with them. I didn't get shots of every hole because my memory card was full, but there are several.

Adam
04-06-2012, 12:08 PM
Yeah I saw that, thanks Marcus.

I also have an announcement about the short pads and new pin placements. Rec and women divisions will be playing from short pads on holes 2, 4, 7, 9, 15 and 18. Also, we SHOULD have the new pin placements for holes 3, 7 and 8 in for the tournament. The work day to get this stuff done has been delayed due to weather but is set for Monday and the weather looks great!

MarcusGresham
04-06-2012, 05:52 PM
I'm moving up to intermediate, too, but I'm glad for the shorts because my daughter can't clear the trees on #2. Not sure I should move up, though, now that I just got an MRI today telling me I have torn cartilage in my knee and need an operation on it. Anyone who's watched me try to walk and throw for the last few months won't be shocked at that.

The LDGC doesn't have a Monday league, but Yes, you can pay at Tuesday leagues at CV, Wednesday at IQ or Thursday at SL. I'll be a Seviren Monday morning/afternoon for the work day and we'll also take registration at the course on Friday.

hahahahaha (sarcastic). Of course bs always comes up when i sign up for a tourney here recently. While I won't have lab, I was just informed that get my season tickets to UL football/basketball, I have to show up to the spring game and sign in with my group I signed up with. Hopefully that will be a quick sign up and I can get out. My plan is to leave as soon as I finish the round, go sign up, and be back within the lunch break, but if I can't, I guess I'll just have to 999 the second round. GRRR!

Mike_D
04-10-2012, 09:58 PM
Hows this tournament being played ?

1 round & done
2 rounds
or 1 round with 2nd round play off ?

1st time in this tournament & i just noticed there is no info on how it will be played

Judge
04-10-2012, 10:02 PM
2 rounds of 18

MarcusGresham
04-11-2012, 12:47 AM
Almost all one-day tournaments are two rounds. The New Year's Day one is one round and a playoff mainly because there's a shortage of sunlight.

Don't you have a brother or someone who looks like you that you could send to the sign-in with your student ID?

I have a brother, but he's only a freshman in high school and therefore can't drive and all that stuff. Like I said earlier, hopefully it will be quick, but I just flat out have no clue.

Mike_D
04-11-2012, 10:53 AM
^ ^ ^ maybe you can get out in the 1st group so you finish early on the 1st round & then get put in the last group on the 2nd round. That would give you max time to get that shight done.

So ready for this. Weather is now looking good 78 & mostly sunny. I hope so cause i'll be in a car with NO ROOF lol

Adam,

I don't have a paypal account and I am too stupid to figure out how to send money as a gift without an account. I have two friends who are the same way. We want to play in this event and we know the history of Louisville tournaments filling up the morning of the event. I guarantee we will be there and if we don't get in after driving all the way there from Brownsville, KY and Indy, we plan to drive our cars at full speed into the shelter during the players meeting and ruin the tournament for everyone! Please put us on the list and prevent a tragedy.
Howie Baird - 6575 - Pro Grand Master
Monte Walker - 11039 - Pro Master
Steve Boylan - 6542 - Pro Master
