So which two courses would you like to play at this year's GVO?

Otter Creek & Otter Creek

I would like to play one of the variations with muldraugh because it will add a little more difficulty and will probably help spread out the scores a little more. If it was just OC and radcliff then there would probably be a lot of ties in the higher divisions. Thats just my opinion and I will probably be there no matter what variation of courses it is.

OCP and Radcliff. Muldraugh just doesn't fit here. OCP and RCP just kinda flow together. Muldraugh doesn't. Just MHO.

FYI...whatever receives the highest number of votes here will likely be what we play so vote seriously. I would love to hear everyones reasoning for their votes too.

I am serious about 2 rounds at OC.

I like it when I get to play the same course twice in a tournament. Gives a player chances at redemption on holes they messed up on.

We used to have the "Fall Open" which was two rounds at Otter. Maybe we could bring that back?

I'm with Job, 2 rounds at OCP sounds awesome.

I see Daniel's reasoning through the flow of acronyms but I chose OCP and Muldraugh because It Appears Muldraugh Challenges Our Own Locals also.

I voted OC/Muldraugh. I'm not a fan of either Radcliff or Otter Creek, but think Muldraugh is by far the best of the 3, it's well maintained and overall a beautiful course with many challenges. The real question, are there any tournaments played at either of the 3 throughout the year?

I voted OC/Muldraugh because I'm just not a big fan of Radcliff.

Heck yeah! My only win... =)

Two rounds of the 27 there = awesome.

I wholeheartedly agree.

Otter and Otter.

The other courses just don't compare to the history and beauty
of Otter Creek Park.

Will probably play whatever is decided. Played the other two Gold Vault's.

I concur. Otter and Otter! No driving between rounds and the ability to "seek revenge" on the first round. 27 holes would be great. I really liked the extra holes too, especially the narrow tunnel shot (4th one I think?)

Yep, 4th one was the tunnel shot right before you go across the road. If Otter is the venue and the extras are added, it would be wise to find out if all of that land is available unlike that one year where there was something going on at that observatory thing and the extras got shifted around.

Will this be like last year where the females weren't charged to play? I'm considering signing my 12 year-old daughter up for her first tournament. Honestly, my wife's throwing a minor fit about me spending "all this money" to enter the last few tournaments so getting to sign Ivy up is probably the only way I'll get to play it.

As for the courses, Muldraugh is definitely the toughest of the three (OC and Radcliff) in my opinion. I'd also add that it's centrally located, so I'd probably suggest it and one of the other two.

Otter Creek/Muldraugh

If Tommy had his way, every course would be 18 275' HYZER holes.

Does it have to be 2 a round tournament? All these courses play fast unless there's 5 packs.

I don't think we'll be able to do the old 27 hole layout that I used for the past few tourneys at Otter. They are letting the area where 19 and 20 were go back to a natuarl habitat. The land across the road has yet to be cleaned up also.

I could postpone the Gold Vault Open (Muldraugh/Radcliff) until early next year and just run the 31st Fall Disc Golf Open at Otter. I don't really think this years calendar has enough room for both events. Thoughts.
