Let me guess... Speed School. Those bastards caused me to miss Worlds multiple times.

It is indeed Speed School, and this is going to be one of the longest/hardest week and a half of my life.

Yeah, once you make it through Cal II those classes get easier. After a while you just kind of get use to the mental abuse that school entails. Don't know about whatever discipline you're in, good luck though.

I'm already way past Cal II. I'm on the summer term between my first and second co-op. I'm majoring in Electrical Engineering and taking Electronics, Electronics Lab, Network Analysis II, Statics, Linear, and Matlab. This semester has been horrible and a real GPA killer.

If Saturday's like today I'll welcome the rain. I'm pretty sure Eddie looks through the Farmer's Almanac to see what the hottest day of the year will be and says, "OK, we'll have our tournament THAT weekend!" just to punish us.

I hated cal 2 and 3. After that, it gets *much* easier. Loved diff eq, lineal algebra and number theory. Good luck with that load! Yikes! Not a problem with you engineering-types...;)

Also---anyone wanting one of the Dave Greenwell Condors can find me. I'll have 20 with me (10 yellow, 10 orange. Various weights I assume, I didn't look at the weights.) $15 for Louisville Disc Club members, $20 for non-members.

Hey, I was just wondering when the results for this event would be posted on the PDGA?

I was wondering the same. You would think the TD would do that first thing after a tourney to get it over with.

Isn't the PDGA reporting deadline for a B-Tier 2 weeks after tournament?

xTOMMYxIRISHx
08-05-2011, 12:30 PM
He made a post under FatPad teams @ Yesterday 03:15 PM but did not post a update here? The reasons I care is 1) He is the main guy in KY to the PDGA! 2) My buddy won his first event and I can't even see what he shot! 3) It's not fair and makes the whole club look bad!

Hey guys. I was NOT the TD of the event. I handed it off due to having insufficient time to do anything disc golf related (other than State Coordinator stuff) and the PDGA just never removed my name. I'll contact Eddie and see if he needs any help. I'm not sure what my being a "Lifetime Member" of the LDGC, PDGA State Coordinator, or anything else has to do with anything...especially since I didn't run it.

As I typed this I called Eddie and he said that he had trouble reporting the score so I'm picking them up from him during lunch today.

I hope you guys had fun. It must be nice to play events.

Jeremy you have done so much for disc golf in the area, I hate to see all these negative vibes. Guys this is what causes the 5 year burnout. I hope all goes well with your house(I know this must be mega stress) and I hope to get a round in with you soon. Thanks for all you have done in the past and I hope in the future.

FYI, most of the PDGA is out of the office. It won't be untill next week before you see official results.

FYI, I won't be running disc golf tournaments anymore. If you see my name next to an event...it's a mistake or has yet to be corrected. I'm saying this so that you know that you'll need to direct your gripping at someone else in the future when something doesn't go as you think it should.

Jeremy, I'm very sorry to hear this news, but don't blame you in the least. You're one of the most decent, hard-working and conscientious people I've met in my 15 years in this sport. Don't let the whinings of a minority get in the way of how much the majority of us appreciate you. God Bless you buddy and hope to see you out on the course soon.

Jeremy - I haven't been on here in quite a while and don't play much anymore. I was looking for the BBurg scores (couldn't make the date/didn't even know about it until it had past) & found this bs string. I am thankful to have met you and that you got involved in the local disc golf community and began TDing our local events. I hope all is well & that I see you in the near future out chuckin' a few discs!

Yeah this is in no wY shape or form Jeremy's fault the scores have been delayed. I saw Eddie Whelan at BTO and mentioned the scores and he said he had not even gave the scores to Jeremy so since Eddie doesn't get online he didnt realize Jeremy was the TD. Now let's get the pitch forks and torches and head to RTS to seek vengeance.
For what its worth Jeremy has helped me out more in this sport then any one individual. This is a big hit to the club IMHO

Jeremy,
If I came off being mad at you I'm sorry but as I said I was just upset at the whole thing. I now see it's not your fault but the TD of the event! If we are good enough to pay right away then we are good enough to see our scores up right away. I was just a bit lost since someone said it was your job and by what I know of you, you get the scores up ASAP. Sorry for coming off the wrong way but people that know me know I have a lot of passion and sometimes I just seem mean. Thanks for all your work!

MarcusGresham

I've probably asked this before, but if I did I don't remember the answer...how long does a score stay on your rating?

jeremy
08-12-2011, 03:34 PM
Right at one year usually. That's assuming you're actively playing tournaments. For example: If I don't play in any events this year (which it's looking that way) my rating should not change. After one year has passed, and I get a certain number of rounds in (a number which I don't remember), my rating will reset.
