wow no word in ten days. Guss I'm the only one glad to have a all new park near them.
When it comes to getting a new course in the ground things can take awhile. I don't do the whole Facebook thing either but I still look at their site to see if anything is going on. It can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Possum-Ridge-Disc-Golf-Club/161998167166234, and the last post was earlier in the month. I don't have Riks email to pass on but I will pm you Scotts who also post on here at times as Scobandit.

Drove out there to see if anything has been happening and found nothing. Stopped at the camp ground next to the horse riding park and was told that the guy who was in charge of the project was fired and that there was no plans to put in the park. Suck's

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? I thought *A LOT* of work had already been put in there? If true, that really sucks.

This was just posted on the Possum Ridge Disc Golf Club Facebook Site Today
"We are waiting on the new state park commissioner and park manager. Once they are in office and brought up to speed we will sit down with them and the horse trail people to finalize the plans. We do have 80-90% of the fairways cleared and the state has provided us with baskets and signs. We have some supplies (concrete, railroad ties, telephone poles for bridges and 2 X 4s) promised to us. it is our sincere hope that our patience will be rewarded."
Lots of work has been done out there - Patience is key.

I drove out there last summer '11. The course was going to disturb the horse trails too much. The lady in the booth said that the "guy" was told to stop building the course several times. Finally, he was transfered out. There are no plans to resume work on the course

Thank for the update. Though this place was dead. And maybe still is.
