Disc Golfers Picnic Sunday May 2nd

Hello Disc Golfers

I will be hosting a family friendly picnic
at my house on Sunday May 2nd from
12:00 - 4:00.

This is open to both clubs. You don't have
to be a member of either club to come to
the picnic.

Here are the details.

I will have a grill going. I will supply
the hotdogs, buns, sodas and some water.

Bring other meats or veggies if you
don't want hotdogs.

Rain or shine. I have plenty of shelter

Bring your kids. I have a great play set
and tons of room for moms and kids.

We will have a 4-6 hole putter course set
up behind my house.

We will have an ace run contest.
Prizes, etc.

BYOB

Please bring a dish. (post here if you
are coming and what you will bring)

Come ready to meet other golfers
and hopefully their significant others.

Bring your smiles and frisbees. This will be a
great way to mingle somewhere other than
the course. Still plenty of disc golf activities to
keep us occupied.

It is with much remorse that I am going
to postpone the Disc Golfers Picnic. The
weather is just not going to be pleasant.
70% chance of Thunderstorms just stinks.

Please pass the word that the picnic is postponed.
Not canceled because we will be doing this sometime this
year.

I will pass the word along as soon as I have a date that
works with our local calendar.

We would have needed a boat to access the
area I was going to set up 5 or 6 holes.

The creek overtook the field I use.

I could not resist throwing some garbage
discs into the water.
