Anybody recommend what they wear to throw discs in the off-season/winter? I would think most people do not even wear gloves but if so please share with the rest of the class any that doesn't impede the game.

Hot hands inside of mittens if it's really cold.

You can pick them up at local gas stations, Walmart, Kroger, etc. Usually in the hunting/fishing/sports sections of the bigger stores.

I wear a glove on my non throwing hand. No glove on my throwing hand and I stick hot hands in my hoodie pocket.

We always buy them by the box at Sam's Club. Just about the perfect amount to last the whole season. I think there are about 50? in a box.

How much do they tend to cost? I don't know anyone with a Sam's Club membership, but I'd like to still find a decent deal on a dozen or so for those days when I really get an urge to go play, even in freezing weather.

you can get them at gas stations, walgreens, cvs - usually less then a $1 a piece - they sell the hand warmers and you can get bigger ones that i think are used for toe warmers

Last time I bought some was at Wallmart and I payed 2-3 dollars for a ten pack. This was last Winter and I havn't checked prices lately because I still have some left. They also had single packs, a box of fifty, and the larger feet warmers.

I just double checked this and I got an eight pack for $1.99 pretax.
