Yesterday I ran into a group playing out at Muldraugh. I stepped up on #16 and I throw a drive that was dead on line. As it buzzed by the basket (looked like INCHES away from the tee) Dan Hammond says “Wow! That’s the closest I’ve ever seen anyone come to acing that one!”
Next, Tim Blankenship steps up and bust a drive HIGH. It also looked perfect...because it was. Tim nailed an ace, dead center, into the basket. I don’t think Tim gets on this site but it’s a shot worth sharing. I’m pretty sure he’s the first person to ever ace #16 there too.
