A few words about the course we played...

Roscoe Ewing Park in Medina, Ohio.

This course was amazing. Very well maintained (by the Jenkins family), this course was designed by Steady Ed and is THE oldest course in Ohio. BUT, ALL but one hole has been modified from it's original design. You would never know that its the oldest course if you were there, because there is minimal erosion, and minimal exposed dirt spots.

Does this remind you guys of any situation here in Louisville? Maybe IROQUOIS???

Just because Steady Ed designed it doesn't mean it shouldn't be changed. Just because its one of the oldest courses in the state doesn't mean it shouldn't be changed. Times change, people change, technology changes. If the Jenkins' can modify the entire course (except one hole), at the OLDEST course in Ohio, that Steady Ed designed, then we should be able to as well.

Roscoe Ewing was tough, even par was about 1000 rated. I like this. Is being able to reach every hole really that important?

Just my $.02

Good shooting Scott. I saw that you cashed in a tough crowd. Congrats.
