Hey I'm originally from Louisville, but got into Disc Golf in living in San Francisco. Looking for a someone up for a friendly game. I'm not competitive/good or anything. Just wanting to play... assuming the weather remains sunny while I'm here. Perhaps a game sometime sunday? Any course would be fine, but I haven't played here anywhere. Anyone have a suggestion on the best place to pick up a disc?

I wish I could catch a round with you but I'm playing in the tournament at Iroquois park this Saturday and Sunday. I'm sure there are some people who aren't playing in that tournament that would be glad to catch a round with you.

The absolute best place to buy discs is at River Town Spirits but that's down in Meade County just a couple minutes from Meade-Olin park. They have the best selection around so if you're looking for something specific, chances are they've got it. Here's a link to find them:

In Louisville, the best place is either at Dave Greenwell's shop, Heads Above the Rest, or at Play It Again Sports on the Outer Loop. If you go to Dave's place, it's a good idea to call before you go to make sure they're open, here's a link to find it:

I've got a bunch on discs for sale too. Well below market value. I'll be at the tourney this weekend and play cv 3 or 4 times a week. PM me if you want something specific and I'll let you know if I have it.

You can also pick up some discs at Play it Again on Hubbards Lane by St. Matthews Mall. A bit overpriced, but occasionally you can find some good x-outs at a good price.

Elizabethtown has an amazing Play it Again close to Kroger on the strip. They easily have 300+ in stock at any time, many used and hard to finds. Last time I was in I bought what was said to be a used proto Champ Groove for $6.99 but it looked new. They carry Innova, Discraft, Millenium, Orion, and Gateway stuff and a large selection of DGA Blowfly and those other "Steady Ed" discs . You can even find used bags every once in a while.

An employee told me the owner went to a disc golf convention in New Orleans in the winter and met with Innova and struck a deal on Innova X-Outs and some Discraft stuff and the guy has a few thousand in storage so you can pretty much request anything.
