Roady got second in the World's putting competition. :bravo: :bravo: :bravo:

Tee off happened about ten minutes ago for the first pro group.
Martin had a shotgun start and he is on about hole two. Let's hope the first hole
jitters are done.

Let's post positive thoughts, fun, and cheers about our boys in the glove state.

Looks like Roady is tied for first in Masters and Greenwell is a stroke out in Grandmasters after round one. Former World Champions, Sais and Voakes, are on Greenwell's tail while the 49 year old Hossfield has squeaked into first.

What about the Reifer? Scott that is.

DLG now on top after round 2. Looks like Scotty struggled a bit first round. I'm betting he'll be on fire the rest of the tourney. Roady doing well too!! Martin shootin well to. Go 502!!! Wish I was there :bang:

Ouch, just saw Roady got a 6 on the 17th hole of second round. Must have went ob. He might drop a few spots after that round

day number one is done - finished it off by going to an emergency room to get an infection on my leg cleaned - timber ridge - ski hill - tomorrow morning, bought myself an extra hour and a half or sleep with my sloppy but good enough play at kimball pines - i shot 11 strokes better in practice on sunday - oh well, early wood -

- daves rollin - as for the rest of us will be movin up tomorrow -

Passed a couple dozen people today. The guy in my afternoon round never turned in our scorecard. I even asked him to let me turn it in because I was parked by the score table, but he said he wanted to turn it in. The whole card will take penalty strokes.

that bites. kinda wierd though. at the beaver the td warned us all about that. he reminded us that we need to walk with the guy with scorecard to turn it in. that bites. seriously. that bites.

That is bull**it!!
It's the world's turning in the scorecard should be a priority.

Others should not be punished for ones lack of memory.

08-12-2008, 08:18 PM
It was the disc golf "Mole" that did it. I feel for ya, Scott. nothing worse than you paying for someone elses mistake. It's different if you turn in the wrong score. It's pretty much in your hands, but not turning a card in period :bang:  . Still lots o golf, and cashing positions. Grab it by the reins, fellas! :bravo:

How in the world do u not turn in the scorecard for the World's? What an idiot!

08-13-2008, 11:33 AM
Sorry to hear about that Scott. That happened in the pool I was is in at Tulsa a few years ago. Everyone in the group gets screwed. Don't let it get you down for the rest of your rounds.

Bill Newman will be providing live scoring for the Masters lead card at the Oshtemo course starting around 2:15 PM EST.

Chuck Kennedy will also try and do live commentary along with the live scoring; Jon Lyksett will be following the lead card and be in contact with Chuck by phone to provide as close to a throw-by-throw basis as possible.

So follow the live scoring of Stan McDaniel, Al Schack, Jim Oates, and Eric Roadhouse as they tackle the 6652' pro par 61 layout.

Play well Dave. Bring home another title. I wish Roady many long putts.

thanks everybody for your support - ended up playing 8 rds of golf - and got myself down to 41st in the world - not to bad - especially when i look back and i really only played about 4.5 good rounds of golf -

Dave took 2nd in pro grandmasters - Roady played in a playoff for 4th place in open masters - Scott just missed the cash by 3 strokes (2 of which were anything but his fault) - Jerry Collis cashed as the #40 advanced master in the world -

great week of golf - next year kansas city - end of july - mark your calender
