Well…it’s been a looooooong and exciting road as an AM but I’ve decided that after the FATPAD this year I’m going to make the jump to Open. My game feels pretty solid now, my nerves are steady, and my confidence is growing soooo…it’s time.

I strived to be the best I could be as an AM but I feel that I should have moved up a while back to challenge myself a bit more.

I’m ending my AM career:

With a Rating of 967
Rated second (tie) in the State
Rated 46th (tie) in the World
Third highest “Points” winner in the State
23rd highest “Points” winner in the World
Top Ten in 27 of the 34 tournaments I played
Top Five in 18
Winning only Four and "cashing" in ALL but three!

See ya on the long pads! :D

Maybe Doc Rick and I can end it all w/ a win at the FATPAD!

The World’s is in part the reason I’m choosing to go ahead and move up. They’ve scheduled the World’s this year AFTER school is back in session! With Julie being a teacher she wouldn’t be able to go with me so I don’t know that I really want to go. I just don’t know what I’ll do yet. If I go to the World’s though, I’ll be playing Pro. Thanx for all the encouraging words guys! :D

Sweet, I look forward to geting it on, if my elbow ever frickin heals :bang: What tournaments did you win? I thought you had only won two. You got me in tournament wins by one. I won 3, I had #1 in state #32 in world and a higher player rating.

Ha ha! I can hear you singing "Anything you can do I can do better..."

I won:

2008 Daviess County
2006 Brandenburg Open
2004 Fall Open
2003 Brandenburg Open (Intermediate)

The 2003 Brandenburg Open was the first tourney I ever played and the only I played as Intermediate.

If you are counting intermediate wins, then when I move up, I am going to count my intermediate AND junior wins. That should put me well into the double digits :weee:

Not if I'm going to be there

That was the marchmaddisc you won right? Does an intermediate win count for anything? Just kiddin
Mick is right your game will elevate dramaticaly. I would have won nearly every tournament I played last year in advanced with my open scores. Don't we all sing that same song, thats what its all about.
