well it is only one of one disc ever made, not to mention it is sweet. Also it is for a great cause, EDGE.

It's kinda funny cuz Dave gave me one the EXACT same color and weight, but the stamp is green. There were only six made like that. Mine is number 46. It should be worth at least a quarter of that one.....RIGHT!?!

I did see an 2006, crystal clear "Eye Roc" go for over $1000 for the Edge program. I think it was over $1000.

Great cause if your rich!!!!
However $1000 for a disc is about CRAZY!!!
I could think of 10 zillion things to spend $1000's on besides a disc........
Guess it would be acceptable if you just have money laying around!!!!!!!!

suppose for whom spends the money its more a charitable donation to EDGE then it really is buying a roc that will probably never even find its way into some chains, or a tree, or underwater, or else where

Anyone want to bid on a one and only disc, check here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=008 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=180183932816&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=008)

I've never seen one like it, and don't know of another ever made. As for 1K I'll take half of that. Bid on this piece of history while you can. I actually won this for ctp at Otter on hole #9. It was just collecting dust in my closet. Good luck.

P.S.
If you don't buy it, I'm just going to throw it on the fire. :(

I remeber that Clear Eye Roc from 06... It went for $1338.13!!!!! It was the same type of deal, one of a kind color/stamp combo that benifitted EDGE. I'd bet that was a $1313.13 charitable donation, and he bought a $25 disc.

What about the guy who spent $12k on Champion Destroyers?

What about the guy who spent $12k on Champion Destroyers?

I think that was a scam. Weren't they all from the same seller to the same buyer or something similar?

It wasn't really a "scam", the same guy bought every single champion destroyer that was auctioned. He said he wanted them and had money spend. I'd say he has at least 75% of the first ones. Now he can pretty much set the price for them. He buys a ton of plastic, at least 5 auctions a day.

The only thing that sucks about owning that many is that you can buy them for 30 or less now. yes, it's not the same stamp/run, but it'll still drop the price.

Sweet disc! I won't be bidding against anyone if I bid on this will I?

This has to be the worst case of "fat finger" typing I have seen. There is no way that someone in their right mind would put a disc up for 1.5 mil. This person had to have typed in a few extra zeroes on accident. Had to have. :?: :?: :?:

jeremy

I'm guessing it's a joke.

Well, I thought it was a joke when someone posted Britany Spears garbage for sale and some idiot bought it.

His joke cost him $4.80 for a posting fee.

Better hurry and buy it now for 2 mil before someone else gets to it. This is a once in a lifetime chance.

You think anyone will be stupid enough to buy it? I know that if I had the money, I still wouldn't buy it.

jeremy
12-10-2007, 11:51 PM
If it was black I would have already bought it.

I wouldn't doubt that for a second Jeremy.

Thats the "golden Ticket" roc that got that guy the Innova Sponser's Exemption into the USDGC.

That is the golden ticket roc. I would pay a lot for that disc. Obviously not 1.5 million dollars. Let's be realistic here the dollar is not what it used to be. I would say that disc is worth $10,000.
Dubai may be interested in this disc. They have a lot of our cash.
